Huawei ICT Competition is a competitive ICT talent exchange event developed by Huawei for global college students. Huawei will continue to hold the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 after the great success of last year. The competition content (Cloud Track) includes Cloud, Big data, Storage, and AI.
You can get $100 voucher, Huawei official certificate and fabulous prizes for completing different tasks. You can even get internship or job opportunities at Huawei if you successfully enter the final stage. Do join and challenge yourself!

“Emoji Painting NFT Generative Art” – an NFT project by a graduate of the BSc (Hons) Digital Media, UWE Bristol, will be showcased in the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF) 2022 to be held at Cyberport on 26 – 28 August 2022.
This year's theme is "Beyond Reality, Entertainment Without Borders", with a series of exciting activities such as art technology, metaverse VR experience, and sports technology trial, in addition to youth e-sports competitions and e-sports star shows. The invitation to exhibit in this mega digital event of the industry has proven the cutting-edge technologies that students can learn from the BSc (Hons) Digital Media programme and its quality.

13 students from BSc (Hons) Digital Media programme of IT/LWL and IT/TM won awards in the IT Lab Design Competition (IT 實驗室創意設計孵化計畫).
The award presentation ceremony was held on 13 August 2022 at the 5G Centre of China Mobile (中國移動“聯創+”香港5G開放實驗室), Science Park (香港科學園).
The competition was organized by China Mobile and the Association of I.T. Leaders in Education (AiTLE), co-organized by InnoEdu and IVE Information Technology (IT) Discipline. BSc (Hons) Digital Media students tailor-made room design solutions to optimize the primary/ secondary school's original space with the latest new technologies. Through integrating digital media design skills and software/ hardware applications knowledge, students are capable of initiating new interactive learning and teaching experiences for primary/ secondary teachers and students and encouraging them to unleash their creativity in STEM and IT education.
中國移動香港與資訊科技教育領袖協會合辦，聯合 InnoEdu 及香港專業教育學院（李惠利分校） 共同打造「IT 實驗室創意設計孵化計畫」。是次計畫順利完成，承蒙香港專業教育學院（李惠利分校）及香港專業教育學院（屯門分校）資訊科技系「數碼媒體（榮譽）理學士學位」課程的同學及老師鼎力支持，成功為 20 間學校免費提供度身訂造 IT Lab/ STEM 室內設計方案，為師生帶來新的教學體驗，鼓勵學生在 IT Lab/ STEM 方面發揮潛能。

「AiTLE x CMHK IT 實驗室創意設計孵化計劃」將為參加學校度身設計可進行不同 STEM 及創科教學的「IT 實驗室」，由香港專業教育學院 (李惠利) 資訊科技系和本地教育及創意公司 InnoEdu 提供教室的設計、STEM 課程軟件和相關專業諮詢等，打造專屬方案，同時優化學校原有空間；AiTLE 提供不同學校與課堂應用情境的教學意見；CMHK 將重點提供 5G 人工智能物聯網（AIoT）及虛擬實境（VR）兩大範疇的智慧校園建設和技術支援，計劃希望透過多方位的教育和科技資源，幫助更多學校引入 STEM 教學，並將 5G 科技全面融入教育之中，助力培育香港未來科創的領袖人才。
