A Heartfelt Thank You: OneAsia and Newtech Scholarship Presentation Ceremony
01 Apr 2025

HKIIT would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our industry partners, OneAsia Network and Newtech Technology, for their staunch support of HKIIT students through two designated Scholarships. Their unwavering support is invaluable to our fourteen exceptional non-local students.

These Scholarships not only recognise the outstanding academic achievements of HKIIT students but also provide essential financial support to students, allowing them to focus on their studies and reach their full potential.

In support of the “ICBC Bright Future Project - Vocational and Professional Talents Programme”, the OneAsia Network scholarship is instrumental in providing financial assistance to six students from underprivileged areas of the Chinese Mainland. This initiative not only enables these students to pursue quality Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) in Hong Kong but also empowers them to explore diverse career development opportunities upon graduation.

We are also grateful to Newtech Technology for recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of our non-local students. The scholarship not only rewards excellence but also attracts high-quality talents to HKIIT, enhancing the learning environment and fostering student engagement.

During the ceremony, student representatives from Si Chuan and Lebanon shared their inspiring learning experiences in Hong Kong, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to Charles Lee (Founder and CEO of OneAsia and Newtech) for making their educational journeys possible.

Together, we are shaping the future of our students and empowering them to achieve their dreams. Thank you once again to OneAsia and Newtech for your commitment to VPET and for believing in the potential of our HKIIT students!
