By embracing the HKIIT's 'I + I' (industry-institution) collaboration, we work closely with our industry partners to foster a dynamic synergy between industry expertise and VPET excellence at the institute. We have established partnership with more than 200 companies and organizations which provided a wide range of opportunities to our students including industrial attachment and graduate employment.

When I was studying at IVE, I received an internship to practise at one the world’s largest courier companies. The experience allowed me to understand how information technology was applied in the industry. After graduating from IVE, I was awarded a scholarship and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in the UK.
The social network I built during my internship has helped my career. Upon graduation, I partnered with my former supervisor to found a company specialising in radio frequency identification technology and smartphone software. Over the years, our company has grown in size and business volumes.

With a keen interest in information technology, I found IVE's interactive learning approach inspiring and fruitful. After graduating from IVE, I was awarded the Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship, and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in the UK. I then furthered my education at the University of Cambridge in an MPhil course.
Now I'm a software engineer at a game development company, turning my interest into a career. I look forward to establishing my own company in the near future.
