With the acceleration of digitalization driven by the pandemic, an increasing number of industries are applying innovative technologies to their operations to reduce costs and enhance customer experience, bringing more attention to information security and the need for investing in its improvement. In response to this, IVE Information Technology discipline has established the Cybersecurity Centre to cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. The centre aims to provide quality and professional cybersecurity education and to raise public awareness of cybersecurity culture and importance, thus enhancing the cybersecurity level in Hong Kong.

Desmond Chan is a Production Manager at DNEG Animation. His most recent work is on the Netflix show Entergalactic. He has been in the Animation film and TV industry for over 20 years. Desmond worked on a variety of films such as TMNT, Astroboy, Wish Dragon, Ron's Gone Wrong. Before joining DNEG, he worked at Menfond, Centro Digital Pictures, Imagi & Base FX. Desmond joined Imagi in 2007 as a Supervising Technical Director, he was involved in designing the production pipeline & standardization and leading R&D team to develop tools for project tracking

VTC举办的「新世代 新技能」博览（12月9至11日）圆满结束，IVE 资讯科技学科透过业界研讨会、VI​​P导赏团及专题项目展览等活动，让业界伙伴及公众见证VTC在职业专才教育 (VPET) 的成果。

IVE资讯科技学科是次总共展出14个毕业生及师生的数码研发，透过运用专业知识及创意思维开发应用程式，提升市民生活质素，让参加者体验创新科技的发展趋势及IVE 资讯科技学科的实务教学。 是次活动云集多位行业领袖及专家参与涵盖元宇宙和网络安全的专题讲座及VIP 导览，参观杰出创新及得奖作品。

H3C销售总监梁鼎基先生（左）[ML1] 与职业训练局资讯科技学科署理学术总监黄伯光博士（右）于H3C「数码之旅2022」活动上签订合作备忘录，并由香港特别行政区政府创新科技及工业局副局长张曼莉女士, JP、职业训练局副执行干事廖世乐博士工程师、香港中国企业协会副会长兼总裁张夏令先生及香港及澳门H3C总经理于飞先生在场见证。

IVE 资讯科技学科早前与新华三集团（H3C）签订合作备忘录，携手推动本港的数码技能培训，培育新科技专才，打造香港成为可持续发展的世界级智能城市，「携手共进，智见未来」。

透过是次合作， IVE资讯科技学科将会成为香港首个H3C专业认证训练及考试中心，为学生及在职人士提供各项有关网络构建与管理、网络安全、物联网、大数据及云计算等技术的培训课程，并考取相关专业认证，装备新科技知识。

 职业训练局副执行干事廖世乐博士工程师表示：「我们十分感谢H3C 对VTC的支持，透过是次合作让IVE资讯科技学科的学生能透过H3C丰富的教学资源，学习最新的网络技术，并认识如何将相关技术应用在不同的行业。很感谢H3C对职专教育人才培训的支持，期望我们双方日后能有更多合作，为年轻人提供更多发挥所长的机会，亦为香港培育更多具备数码技能的人才，支援行业的发展。」

在十一月二日，《数码媒体(荣誉) 理学士》邀请到罗昊导演为同学们分享电影、广告和网络剧的制作科技及行业心得！
学生在是次分享会后获益良多，得到了更多的灵感去研发作品，亦对相关行业有更深入的了解。

罗昊(高天、天导)，2012年毕业于香港浸会大学电影学院。电影电视传播学士（ BSC ），电影与多媒体制作硕士（MFA ）。
读书期间曾跟随香港导演张婉婷、罗启锐、彭顺学习，参与多部电影剪接和后期工作。
2013年拍摄独立公路电影《天梯》，获得美国加州电影金奖。 2014年代表香港参加央视CCTV “美丽中国极拍48小时”短片竞赛，获得“最佳影片”以及“最佳视觉效果” 两个奖项。 2017年正式开展内地影视创作事业，先后执导拍摄多部剧集，具备丰富国内和海外拍摄经验。
