踏入物聯網時代，不少日常生活中所接觸到的家用電器、電動化汽車等變得智能化，並需要以軟件控制、管理及運作，當中軟件工程師的參與不可或缺。IVE軟件工程高級文憑畢業生伍景誠（David）現時於一間本地科技公司擔任高級軟件工程師，負責為地產及室內設計等行業的企業客戶設計3D掃描器的軟件，當中包括軟硬體數據交換流程、程式編寫，亦要搜集及按照用家意見提升軟件。David亦有份創立一間初創公司，為客戶提供與物聯網相關的軟件設計方案。

IVE資訊科技學科於柴灣院校設立網絡安全中心（Cybersecurity Centre）為學生提供網絡安全實戰訓練，以及供業界專才交流或開展協作項目。中心亦舉辦活動推動網絡安全教育，如「聯校網絡安全比賽」鼓勵中四至中六、青年學院等學生參與。各參賽者在賽前接受訓練，掌握有關網絡安全的基礎知識及技巧。而比賽涵蓋網絡安全技術比併，如網絡攻防、弱點或漏洞分析（Pwnable）、加解密（Crypto）、鑑識（Forensics）、掃描（Scanning）等，要求參賽者於限時內查找系統最多漏洞。

日常我們在商場消費時經常都會製造咗大量的紙品收據，而商場活動又需要呢啲收據進行很多不同推擴活動。 Slip 係一個可以將這些商場活動無紙化的方案，從而可以喺新數碼年代提倡一個更環保的活動，減少破壞環境。

透過物聯網及腦電波技術設計的機械手，目的係用最經濟的成本協助因意外而失去手部活動的人士。
