近年來，IT 新技術發展一日千里，各行各業都嘗試運用 IT 新技術來提高工作效率，創造新商機。新一代年輕人必須具備與時並進的 IT 知識，才可以滿足新時代及新經濟的要求。
香港專業教育學院 (李惠利) 資訊科技系希望透過比賽來推廣 IT 知識並發掘 IT 年輕人才。
學生將以個人形式參加比賽，比賽分初賽及決賽兩部分，初賽為網上問答挑戰賽, 由 2022 年 5 月 10 日至 2022 年 5 月 31 日舉行。初賽問題全部為選擇題，參賽者可自行網上報名參賽及作答，答對最多問題的頭 100 名參賽者便能勝出初賽並進入決賽，如果參賽者答對相同數目的問題，則以作答時間最短為獲勝者。
初賽中成績最好的頭100名參與者獲得初賽一等獎，頭101-200名獲得初賽二等獎，頭201-300名獲得初賽三等獎。
另外，比賽還設有團體獎，包括最傑出參與團體獎冠軍、亞軍和季軍。最傑出參與團體獎的獎項將取決於每所學校參加初賽的學生總人數，成功完成初賽學生總人數最多的學校將成為冠軍。決賽將於 2022 年 6 月或 7 月舉行，詳情稍後將另行通知決賽參賽者，所有進入決賽的參賽者將獲得獎狀及豐富獎品。

近年不少企業應用雲端科技（Cloud Technology），藉開發雲端系統擴充業務，為確保系統運作順暢，有賴雲端工程師的專業知識。筆者早前得悉數名香港專業教育學院（IVE）雲端系統及數據中心管理高級文憑學生參加由業界舉辦的雲科技職業證書比賽，從中學習不同範疇的雲端科技，為投身業界作好準備。
是次比賽邀請大專生及中學生參加由業界提供不同的雲端科技課程，內容涵蓋多個雲端科技範疇，例如架設雲端監測系統、建構3D場景及應用虛擬實境程式等，參賽者需在指定時間內，學習課程並完成相關的任務，以獲取獎章，而IVE雲端系統及數據中心管理高級文憑二年級學生盧俊熙（Leo）因考獲最多奬章而成為最佳的參賽者之一。

In cooperation with the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, our project aims at raising interest of maritime history and marine life among Hong Kong’s youth. In order to enhance their learning experience and raise their awareness about maritime history, we created a VR tour of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. We also made some educational materials with 3D animations and AR elements for the youths to learn about their surroundings. Hence, showing the beautiful side of the ocean and the importance to protect the ocean while providing an interactive immersive experience in the whole process.
