The leading vocational and professional education provider in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) Information Technology Discipline, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), through its AWS Educate initiative, announced the launch of a new cloud computing diploma to prepare students for entry-level cloud technology jobs.
Starting in September 2020, the two-year program will be available to IVE students and will support approximately 100 cloud computing students annually. The program includes five semesters of learning content inclusive of cloud fundamentals, hands-on labs, professional development, and a final year project.

新冠疫情反覆，不少需要接受物理治療的長者、傷健人士，為減低感染病毒風險，都會減少外出，尤其是醫院、診所等地，影響康復進度，有專業教育學院（IVE）高級文憑畢業生，研發「智能遙距復康」手機應用程式，物理治療師可把運動影片上載，並可按照病人跟隨練習的影片，作出即時跟進。程式於月前推出市場，在數所非牟利復康中心試用，反應正面，現正與政府機構洽談合作。

疫情持續，刺激網上學習需求，香港專業教育學院（IVE）師生改良前年勇奪國際比賽季軍的「雲端智能虛擬助教系統」，上載教材至系統，經雲端及人工智能（AI）技術等分析和消化教材內容後，以3D動畫製作虛擬助教，24小時全天候解答學生疑難，現時系統用戶遍及全球，多間海外高等學府使用，正探討推廣至本港中小學。
這個「雲端智能虛擬助教系統」2018年曾參加「亞馬遜雲端服務人工智能Hackathon」比賽，並脫穎而出，擊敗哈佛大學奪季軍。
