The Metaverse Innovation Centre is the tech-enhanced teaching and learning facility dedicated to the advancement of digital future knowledge and skills in all areas of metaverse innovations including Mixed Reality (MR), Virtual Reality, AI and robotics technologies, as well as providing an innovative metaverse-integrated platform for students and industry.

The Cybersecurity Centre is equipped with integrated and cutting- edge cybersecurity training facilities to support different types of activities. Cyber Range is one of the major platforms that simulates the operation of an enterprise security operations centre. The Centre consists of a cyber simulation platform that provides scenarios of real-world cyber-attack, and defence and security incident response for training. Through showcasing of network and system security, participants can gain a deeper understanding of cybersecurity.

The Cloud Innovation Centre is equipped with essential facilities simulating the environment of a cloud data centre. The Centre facilitates the learning and teaching on data centre administration and cloud computing.

The Multimedia Entertainment Studio is equipped with a wide range of innovative audio-visual technologies. With these state-of-the-art entertainment systems, students are able to actualize their unlimited creations and visions.

The Interactive Media Studio is established to cater for the development of interactive media for exhibition design and interactive media production.

The Video Production Studio provides professional video recording equipment and live broadcast equipment. Including audio recording, video shooting, background switching, lighting and transition special effects. Students can understand the production flow of the industry by practice. Improve the skills of operating equipment and enhance the production skill.

VFX Laboratory allows students to produce moving imagery and live audio-visual demonstrations in controlled settings. A floor-to-ceiling green screen is installed to facilitate and ideal for chroma-key, video production works and video streaming. The laboratory comprises a cyclorama with a curtain rail that provides green, white and black backdrop options. The lab also comes with professional virtual-set system, cameras, display panels, projection mapping devices, media server system, lighting and audio system to facilitate students to have hands-on experience in all-rounded visual effects and live entertainment productions.

AI & Big Data Centre is an advanced technological centre specialised in AI and big data analytics. Equipped with cutting-edge facilities, the Centre promotes the applications of AI and big data solutions for real-world challenges. It also enhances the quality of teaching in AI related training programmes, providing students with a comprehensive and hands-on learning experience. The Centre facilities student projects in collaboration with industry partners, enabling the application of emerging knowledge and techniques in business contexts. In addition, the Centre fosters strategic partnerships with different stakeholders to advance the integration of VPET on AI and big data applications across diverse sectors.

Digital Innovation Co-creation Centre nurtures talents and inspires collaboration between industry and professional bodies, creating an innovation ecosystem to help develop the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Through hands-on experience and expert advice, students are able to equip themselves with essential skills for today’s ever-changing digital landscape. Apart from showcasing the student projects, the Centre will host different exhibitions and community events with a view to stimulating the interest of younger generation in technology. These initiatives will provide opportunities for participants to experience the impact of digital technology on daily life and explore promising career pathways in IT. By fostering engagement with technology, it also aims to encourage more young talents in pursuing studies in IT related fields and provoking innovation and creativity in Hong Kong.
